2012 Manifesto

I recently joined the website Your Kick Ass Life run by the inspiring Andrea Owen. I signed up for "14 Days Of Powerful Coaching Questions", and when question number one landed in my inbox, I thought was an ideal opportunity for me to write my 2012 manifesto. As someone who is (as of now) recovering from CFS I see resolutions as pointless for someone like me, as they often come with deadlines, and I'm not very good with those any more!

However, a manifesto, so wikipedia says, is "a public declaration of principles and intentions... manifestos may also be life stance-related." Sounds ideal! So here's mine. It's taken me a while to write, as I wanted to consider all aspects of my lifestyle and also try and be as sussinct and comprehensive as possible, so the whole thing was easy for me to read and remember:

My 2012 Manifesto:

  1. Look at how I can change aspects of my lifestyle to benefit my physical and emotional health

  2. Make time to develop my art, craft and vintage business (es!)

  3. Learn to trust the process of life and all it's inevitable unpredictability

  4. One Thing At A Time

  5. Stop doing what I think others/society/”they” want me to do and start doing what makes ME happy and healthy.

I am looking forward to tackling these things, and feeling positive about the coming months. I hope to blog more regularly too!

Jen x :)
